When skateboarders want to buy skateboarding supplies and skateboarding equipment they usually go to skateboarding stores and to skate shops. Skate shops specialize in selling skateboard equipment and skateboard supplies such as decks, trucks, bearings, skateboard helmets and skateboard shoes. Most skateboard shops also sell skating clothing such as skating shorts and skateboard t-shirts and skateboarding apparel. Some skate shops specialize in selling a particular brand of skateboards and skateboarding equipment. But most skate shops and skateboard retailers sell many brands of skateboards, many brands of skateboard equipment and many brands of skateboarding apparel. Some skate shops also sell snowboarding gear as well as equipment for other extreme sports.
